I took a number of photos from afar while in Venice. None of them were pano's, but I was able to make them look like it by cropping to narrow rectangles. Unfortunately, I can't find the original photos for comparison, but it's easy to see I probably cropped off much sky and water to make my 'panoramas'  |

cats4jan Helen mentioned your stamp. I like it as well. How/what is that stamp? Made form scratch or some sort of plug-in or? Thanks Clive

The stamp - I don't know if I created it or it came in a digital scrapbooking kit, but it's easy to make a stamp from a font After creating circle, you can add any text or graphic inside your circle
Note - there is a way of making a circle using the distort filter, but it was simple enough to change the oval to circle, so I didn't explore further  |

I learned how to do that a long time ago, but didn’t really remember how - then I remembered recently playing with filter/distort to make circles.
The possibilities are endless. You can use text or shapes. I like this interpretation- reminds me of a passport stamp.

Jacki - We did take a trip in a gondola - but that particular day, it was a larger boat - maybe on the Murano/Burano/Torcello tour???
See - I didn't document as much as I should've and now, so many years later - facts escape me.
However, I do remember the cruise was Venice to Barcelona - and everywhere we went in Venice, it was by water -- one of our favorite cruises.
