It was fascinating to watch him work in both videos. He certainly has a perfect combination of curiosity (there's probably a better word to use), patience, and skill. Great share, Chris.

We haven't really changed that much; human vision is amazing and when coupled with perception I don't think modern cameras can match.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I've never heard of that particular process using a frame, mirror, and a pencil on a negative.
Ansel Adams did a lot of "photoshopping" on his negatives using dodging and burning tools. He wrote a book about it titled "The Negative."
