I am looking to free up some space on my C: drive, and found that there are several catalogs, some rather old, so from several previous versions of PSE. Can I just delete them, or should I use the organizer to remove them somehow?

Be careful you are only deleting the catalog association and not the images themselves, unless you know for absolute fact that the images are also stored and backed up in other places.
This is more a computer housekeeping suggestion than an Organizer suggestion; but, now would be a good time to separate all of your photos, videos, music, and documents into other Drive Letters instead of in the C Drive = it will make your life much easier in the future.
On all our machines, Drive A is the main photo storage and drive B is everything else - Music, Video, and Documents.

Delete a catalog.

Delete a catalog. You can also move a catalog folder. Either from the catalog manager or from the explorer. So it's safe to move them as an archive to another available drive.

Hi, mainly to Maichelb,
Hopefully you have read my post re my lost organizer. I am wondering whether it may be that the catalog has been moved either in error by myself or by Mr.Gates during his recent upgrade to my Windows. Do youpossibly have the path to the catalog folders?
