- Created the effect with Filter Forge (Heptaflower). - Applied the Glowing Edges filter (Linear Dodge blending mode, 100% Opacity). - Applied the Texture filter (Patchwork). Quite striking, Sepiana!

Living in a high rise I saw little apartments. I like the balance of one doggie looking up at the girl and the other dog being viewed from above by another lady. The yoga lady is interesting too. Lots going on at that apartment building.

Used my own gnarly palm tree bark image as a texture overlay. Credits: Photo frame on a chair by rawpixel; "what lies beyond" gradient by Leo-Simon; exclusion mode, 100 % opacity with levels adjustments.

When I looked at this week's image, I had no clue what to do with it--my mind was a blank! I downloaded it, took it into Topaz Studio 2 and started playing. And it started to look like children's building blocks, so I exited Topaz and added letters to the 'blocks' in Photoshop. Then went back to Topaz and used 3 different Impressions filters and one more (forget which)...and this is my result.

Jim, the EP challenge seems to really bring out your creative side. I liked your submission last week and the idea of making this into a framed piece of artwork was very clever.
Fun edit, Vicki! I like the look of "worn paint" on the letters.....and good job getting the correct perspective!

This is not my cup of tea, but some impressive results. Thanks. Seemed like a good subject for the Droste effect Tony, this is VERY cool. Would make an awesome wall hanging! Nice.

Very nice work, Vicki. I concur with Helen's comments 100%. Thanks, Jim. I'm having a lot of fun with these challenges. MUCH more fun than just entering photo competitions in my clubs.

There is something I find very compelling about this image Jim. The lighting is quite moody. Thank you for sharing it with us! I would suggest that you memorialize it by adding it to your gallery.

Interesting approach, Lillias......I especially like the way you broke up the panel on the left.
