Here is a little tip about creating Displacement Maps.
If you apply too much Gaussian Blur, the undulations will be lost. If you apply too little, minor differences in tone will make the lines look jagged. Try using 2 px for low-resolution images (72 ppi) and 4 to 5 px for high-resolution ones (300 ppi).

Thanks Sepiana for taking the time to post that for me. I always liked using her frames. Now I just have to remember how to install them.

I had her CD for PSE3 which I have mislaid. I now have PSE9 - do her styles & frames work with this version or will I have to wait until I've upgraded?

Bayla,
I have used the layer styles posted on Jodi's website in Elements 7, 10, 11, 12, and 13. No problems whatsoever!

Sepiana, Thanks. Senior moment time - how do I get them to show up in PSE9? Right I have to create xml files? It's been so long since I last installed any layer styles! Bayla
