I want to thank the ladies who have shared the concept of templates, shared the ones they created and shared their results--Lillias, Jacki, Janice, Helen...hope I didn't miss anyone!
You all have inspired me. My high school graduating class has a reunion every 5 years--this year is our 55th! And for the past 4 reunions, I've been creating a printed poster 'In Memorium'. It's been very time consuming (but really is a labor of love)...SO, this year I created a template to use for all the photos. I made the ovals so all the photos would be the same size, and then arranged them in rows and columns, with space for the names and the heading lines. After setting it all up, I created a quick action just to 'create clipping mask' so it would be simplified for the 65 times I had to do it!
Anyway, I'm thrilled with this one and wanted to share a smaller version with you all (the printed one is 25" tall by 17" wide, and mounted on foam core). It's not as pretty as the pages you all create, but it's important to those who graduated with me and are still around to view it.

Wow. Nicely done, and a very generous gesture Vicki. I was in the class of '65, and we have 69 classmates that have passed away. ...but, here WE are, still kicking it and raising dust as well as we may!

Beautifully presented, Vicki! It must have taken a lot of planning to get everything arranged proportionately. I like the picture of your high school in the background. You mentioned not forgetting anyone....just want to point out that Sepiana spends a lot of time upgrading our goodies board which includes links to Templates. |
