I stood in the doorway and took these photos of an Acrobat Squirrel leaping from branch to branch in the Walnut tree where the bird feeders are hanging.

Eastern Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)

On a poverty-level Kentucky budget, a 24-exposure roll of film would have two Christmases and a summer vacation on it and we might have to wait another six months before being able to afford developing the film.
I still have trouble remembering that it doesn't cost anything to take thousands of pictures; it just almost seems impossible to be true.

What a shame, they are beautiful, entertaining creatures.
Our native squirrels are red, but in decline. Years ago, the American grey, found its way to our shores, and have taken over.
I have never seen a red one, but love the greys.
Some people consider them pests. The rest of us love them.

I took this photo near a local park.

A greyhound is for life - NOT just for racing.
