A very nice effect, Jim. I like the way you have composed your image with the fallen petals on the book and cloth.

Nice composition with the various elements but - and this may be a personal thing - I would prefer just a little more room between the top of the flowers and the frame.

It could be re-arranged in various other ways. I wanted to include the book in the composition so was trying to balance both the top left to bottom right diagonal line as well as the roses' and book's spacing from the frame's edge.
