Since we're coming up on Halloween here...I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but it's fun nonetheless...I thought I'd post an abandoned, and possibly haunted, house to get your creative juices flowing. Anything goes with this one--spooky, funny, the sky's the limit. I was looking around at Meg Bitton's site and she had some fun elements for sale (ON sale) that made me think of this. I can't wait to see what everyone does with this one!!! This house is in the Catskills in New York State and I didn't do anything more than crop, straighten and sharpen. (To tell the truth, I'm not even sure this house is still standing since the town wanted to demolish it a couple of years ago.)

You've all done an amazing job haunting the house! - Ran the file through Hallows Eve (Ghostly Graveyard). - Applied a texture by Skeletalmess (Haunted, Multiply blending mode, 75% Opacity). Sepiana, love the elements you've added and the way you arranged them--especially the ghost floating out of the window! Fitting that you used Skeletalmess' 'Haunted' texture! Fun image, Vicki.... Used various filters from NIK CE 4 and a background that I had downloaded from StockSolo. Helen, what I like about yours: the fact that you kept the boards on the building visible and that the sky glows around the moon. Very realistic nighttime look! Took into Smart Photo Editor - Applied Moonlight effect by Tony Back in PSE blended with original with Hard Light blend mode Added a tree by Anna Aspnes from her Trees No 2 set. Other additions from HiClipart and Pixabay. Another wonderful image, Lillias. I especially like the skeleton skulking around the lower left corner! Edit with PSE and used 4 layers, 2 for windows & 2 for blue & orange blends. tourerjim ...Nice how you made the building look alive and lived in! It's also great how your window light shines down on the grass and the siding underneath the windows. It's very inviting for a haunted house! LOL

Janice, I love the B&W conversion. All the elements you've added are perfect and the touches of color here and there add to the wonderful overall feel of the image!
A closer look PeteB , you really did zoom into the image to look into the windows! Not sure who those people are, but they definitely add to the spooky feel, along with the skeletal hand waving from the upper window. Great job!
A lot of playing around with sky replacement, Topaz Studio 2 and a Gradient Map tonyw , I should have known you'd turn this into a B&W! You did a great job and now it looks like 1313 Mockingbird Lane!
- Applied the Neural filter (Color Transfer). - Applied the Poster Edges filter. - Took the file into ON1 Photo RAW (Photomorphis Atmospheric Effect, Fog). Sepiana , you definitely added a creep factor to the house. While it doesn't quite remind me of Halloween, it DOES have a feel of old SciFi movies like The Mist, The Fog and others! Love it.
