Helen, you're right--it's not spooky. BUT it does have a nice coppery gradient look to it. Nicely done.

Just playing....used the stylize extension for PS, the texturizer filter, and poster edges.

I really enjoyed seeing all the spooky and creative edits from this group...you are all so talented!
I thought I'd post an edit of my own before the challenge ends tomorrow. This had a number of elements added, textures applied and some LUTs applied, as well.
I started by turning the house into a sketch, then used LUTs to make it nighttime. Next I added a couple of textures, changed the blend modes and opacities. Then I added part of a texture from Lenabem Anna containing the huge moon, and masked out the sky around it. I added a nighttime sky of my own that had clouds. I really wanted the house itself to look ghostly, which is why I left the moon in focus in the sky and allowed the textures to 'eat away' at the house. The final touch was to add the spectral ghost in the lower right (from an image on Pexels), the cemetery in the lower left (my photo of an actual cemetery at night) and the witch haunting the cemetery (she was one of our guides on a ghost tour in St. Augustine).
