I've participated in forums for well over 20 years, even run forums with thousands of members. And I'm impressed with the setup of this one.
I started using Photoshop for images on my websites, also over 20 years ago, but now use Elements. It has all the capabilities I need.
I'm not really good about reading or watching long tutorials covering so many features and capabilities I have no interest in. Further, I've been able to get all my questions answered by a friend who uses Photoshop in his graphics work.
But he got lung cancer and died a few weeks after it was diagnosed, so... here I am.

Hi peterinwa , I am glad you found our forum; welcome! You clearly have a lot to contribute.
I first started using Photoshop (early 90's?) but these days Elements has blown way past that and is what I use exclusively now.
I have had some fun times in Vancouver at the two McMenamins pubs there. Are you familiar with them?
Anyway, see you on the boards!

It has all the capabilities I need. Welcome Peter. I agree with your comment about PSE. It does more than I ever need for basic (and sometimes in depth) photo editing. Clive |

Welcome Peter...and so sorry about your losing your friend.
I'm a Photoshop User, so I pretty much back off on Elements-specific questions, but can help with general editing questions and issues, as well as other computer problems. I'm sure you'll find the help you need here and hope you check out some of the more creative aspects of our forum. There's a lot here for everyone!
I also look forward to seeing your contributions to the group!
