You can download Adobe Premiere Pro from its official website and you can download this as student. So you will get the discounts.

In my experience with Adobe, if you want a student discount or freebie, you need to be able to prove you're a student. You can't just say you are. I used to be able to 'own' the entire Adobe suite when I was a student at our local community college...and I didn't have to be a full time student or going or a degree. I still had to prove it, though.
