Old mining shack in Tungsten Colorado. I took this picture on a trip to Colorado. Will be interested to see what plans you have for it.

What a lovely setting you have given that old shack, Lillias! Thank you for getting this challenge off to a great start.

Actually laughed out loud when I saw this kdcintx. Marvellous. I can imagine it as a scene from a film. For some reason Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz comes to mind!

Painted into a corner Is this another example of extreme composition, Pete? If so this one definitely works for me.

Hi Helen My attempt was a "one corner" composition ... but I used a golden spiral for subject placement. So it is Fibonacci/ Ma Yuan...I do like the results.

Another terrific edit by you, Jim. I like it a lot better than my snowy attempt. Add-ons from StockSolo.....finished with the oil paint filter in PS.

Another terrific edit by you, Jim. I like it a lot better than my snowy attempt. You are very kind, Helen but yours has a brighter, more upbeat spirit to it. Adding people gives your image more joy and life in my opinion and using that brighter snow, trees and sky continues the overall happy ambiance of the scene. I attempted to depict a more desolate, cold, and lonely feeling in my image. So it's all good!
