Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

The model I often use for setting up for portrait shots. Has the advantage of not moving while I play around with lighting etc Tony

Took our grandson back to college.....our old alma mater.....the original dorms were named after trees on campus. Took a picture of Oak Hall and some oak leaves. Tony's post above reminded me that the mascot is an owl.....a wise one at that.

O is for Ducks. OK it's not, but it is for the University of Oregon Ducks athletic teams. The main campus is a couple hours south of Portland in Eugene, Oregon, but the school has a small presence in Portland where the mascot can be found deep in thought. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Just an Ordinary still life, with an Orb as part of the subject. It was interesting to me because I was playing with ISO settings on my new R5, just shooting Ordinary stuff hand held in my living room. This was with the lens zoomed to 161mm, 1/50 sec at f4, ISO 16,000. No noise reduction or other processing, just cropped very slightly, otherwise straight out of the camera. I continue to be amazed as what I can do with this camera.

Not too far. It does have an O in the name and nevertheless, it's a beautiful image, Clive.

It's mid-November, it's North Dakota, it snowed, the wind blew, O for OVER the neighbors roof! Camera Raw did it in B&W. cjt, just in time for this challenge. The snow is really going over that roof. Great job -- getting closer to the snow to capture its O.

This morning at the supermarket - Oranges are one of my favourite fruits. Dennis Dennis, a great example of "a picture is worth a thousand words". The filling-the-frame composition is perfect for your interpretation of O.
