The model I often use for setting up for portrait shots. Has the advantage of not moving while I play around with lighting etc Tony, beautiful portrait of this owl model. Look at those eyes! Mesmerizing!

Took our grandson back to college.....our old alma mater.....the original dorms were named after trees on campus. Took a picture of Oak Hall and some oak leaves. Helen, these are great interpretations of O. I like how you captured the oak leaves -- with the blue sky peeking through.

O is for Ducks. OK it's not, but it is for the University of Oregon Ducks athletic teams. The main campus is a couple hours south of Portland in Eugene, Oregon, but the school has a small presence in Portland where the mascot can be found deep in thought. Bill, a very interesting O, an Oregon duck. Great capture -- including more than one O in your shot.

Oldman River Valley, November 15, 2022 Bit of a stretch, eh? Clive, I quite agree. On the other hand, it could be an interpretation of F is for . . . Flying. Oldman River and prickly pear cactus, also in the Oldman River Valley. The scientific name of the cactus is Opuntia polyacanthaThese two are more along the lines of O is for . . . (especially the cactus). Nice job!

Old fashioned Oil can I found in our garage. Matthew Matthew, great finding! I really like the composition -- uncluttered, all the focus on the O subject. An eye-catcher!

Just an Ordinary still life, with an Orb as part of the subject. It was interesting to me because I was playing with ISO settings on my new R5, just shooting Ordinary stuff hand held in my living room. This was with the lens zoomed to 161mm, 1/50 sec at f4, ISO 16,000. No noise reduction or other processing, just cropped very slightly, otherwise straight out of the camera. I continue to be amazed as what I can do with this camera. Rick, I really like your interpretation of this theme. The orb says it all; the ordinary still life makes the viewers pause (to absorb it). Very creative!
