Hope I can explain my problem: I bought PSE 2023 from an Adobe authorized retailer. I do not know how to activate the paid-for version from the trial version. And I might have made an error by registering that SN. It has made no difference the "trial expiring" notice when PSE 2023 starts. Any suggestions welcome. Sepiana are you able to assist? Thank you! Clive Here is what I've done ... When I start PSE 2023, I click "Activate now" and sent into the unending Adobe mobius vortex. I am thinking I might have to uninstall PSE 2023 and start all over, but there is a possible glitch below. After clicking "Activate now" the first thing I am asked to do is log in to my Adobe account which I do.
After logging into my Adobe account I get this message.
Well, not that all set. When I go back to PSE of course nothing has changed. Somehow I ended up at the product registration page and might have made a mistake (the possible glitch) as I entered the SN and was then show this window:
My concern with this is if I start all over again, Adobe will tell me that SN has already been used. (? ?) So I have registered this but the actual PSE on my machine does not seem to know. When I start up PSE 2023 (after shutting it down) the activate window still pops up. And the cycle starts all over again. Round and round I go. I have no shut my computer off and rebooted. Will do that tonight and restart in the morning.

There is activation information here but this is not what happens. All good until " Sign in required" which I do and all that happens is the " You're all set" ( here) message pops up. At no time does this show up ... Will keep plugging away.

I strongly recommend you reach out to Adobe for help. Thanks Sepiana. Guessing my blood pressure is way up. Not sure of it is solved or not. Stay tuned. The fifth time that we/I installed PSE 2023, the serial number entry window came up. So perhaps all is good now. Still nervous...here's why. Summary of what happened... - Contacted Adobe and within 3 minutes got into a chat
- He told me to do things I had already done
- The technician requested remote control of my computer
- Uninstalled PSE 2023 three times
- Had to uninstall PSE 2018 and 2022
- He invoked Adobe Cleaner Tool and it did its thing ... housecleaning redundant stuff I guess
- Still issues ...
- At one point, he went into the bowels of my machine and changed some Adobe folders (Clive gets super nervous )
- Restarted computer 3 times ... amazingly the "remote" and remote chat window were still active until
- Lost remote chat in last restart after he changed some Adobe folders
- So now I am all alone in a dark and mysterious world ...drifting alone
- PSE 2023 was still on my machine and I tried to start it ... nope
- I uninstalled PSE 2023
- I am getting really nervous ... again ... still
- I downloaded PSE 2023 again (fifth time now??)
- Installed it and at startup for the first time it actually displayed the serial number window. Yay.
- So after all of that, it appears to be working.
Stayed tuned. It will take some amazing functionality improvements for me to upgrade in the next few years. Thanks for you suggestion Sepiana.
I really have no idea what just happened. If PSE 2023 continues working then the Adobe help guy in Jaipur India did help. So thank you.
