About a week ago I posted a request for new people to join the IOW judging team. I am happy to say that two new people joined the team. However, some of our seasoned judges may need a break. Our present schedule ends mid August....which is fast approaching! This weekend I will be making out the new schedule. Please read the link attached to this message. The strength of this forum is dependent on its members. To quote estherf, one of our long-time judges: "I know we can't let down our guard now after having such a strong interest in keeping together. Heaving a sigh of relief that we made it!"Please consider signing up to be an IOW judge.

Thanks for your interest J. We are always hoping that more people will volunteer to join our team of judges. There are no special qualifications, just a willingness to share your favorite images with the rest of our members. Judges have access to a special board that isn't visible to members who are not judges. There is a search is set up to automatically show all the gallery images from the last 8 days. Based on those entries the judge selects their top picks for the week and designates one image as the IOW. Directions are given for posting your selections after you have made your choice. There is also a posted schedule so that you know in advance when it is your week to judge. You can also create practice threads in the judge's forum before posting. Our judges are quick answer any questions that you might want to post and you can always message me. If there is something else you would like to know feel free to ask in this thread or send me a PM. I would like to encourage you to give it a try......I think you'll find it's a nice way to contribute to PSE&M.
