Okay gang this is a puzzle. My wife made pumpkin pie in a pan for dessert. So this is just a silly play-on-words puzzle. Stress "silly." What geometry formula is represented in this photo?

Ding ding ding. Good one Tom. Yes, pie are square(d). Silly as I said. And a square pumpkin pie is just as good as a round one.

I quite enjoyed it, although not as much as tasting it would have been!

Never would’ve got that. I was concentrating on the amount of pie left over and the shape.

Thanks all. I am glad it made you smile. The pie was good. Willie has celiac disease so made a gluten-free crust (as she done many times). She had seen a recipe for G-F, pan pumpkin pie. Have a great week and Happy New Year. Clive

There's got to be a piethagorum theory in there somewhere - perhaps if you make some diagonal slices to create triangles?
