Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

I am sure I've shared this plate before. I remember it hanging in my home growing up and I just liked it. I have it hanging in my kitchen. I thought the wrapped wire hanger on the back also fit the theme.

Posted a silver cup last week that was won by a cat. Found an old framed picture of the cat with the cup between its paws. Probably mid 50's and the picture has not held up well (I did try a bit of restoration) but it's old! And a bit older (some 400 million years older) - fossils in limestone Thanks for the theme. Tony

Old is, of course, relative. Plains cottonwoods generally live between 70 and 100 years, although my BIL told me some in this area had been aged at over 150 years. This one is likely 50+ years. Had a great walk today with no risk of dying from frost bit or hypothermia as it was 9°C (48F) today. A welcome respite from last week. Dan & Louis Oyster Bar may be 115 years old, but if you're looking for some good oyster stew this is the place! Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

This OLD clock was presented to the Croydon Bowling Club by the Royal Air Force, as a gesture of thanks for making use of the Club premises for storage purposes during the Second World War. i.ibb.co/4MvHhNB/CBC2.jpgDennis

One more old - was passing by what was once a large coal-fired generating station today - over the last few years it has slowly been dismantled, broken up, sorted and taken away for recycle. It has been quite an interesting project to watch unfolding and in some cases controlled exploding. Here's where part of it looked like on a very misty day .. Tony

Tony, great finding -- Old with a lovely history behind it. I love how the cat seems to be holding the silver cup. These fossils are really old. Your image with a fill-in-the frame composition could be used as a texture/pattern.

Plains cottonwood, Populus deltoides, in the Oldman River Valley, December 26, 2022 Clive, you can't go wrong with trees. Many of them outlive humans and make a perfect OLD subject. Nice job!

Dennis Dennis, great job capturing the details of this old clock. It may be old but it seems to be in good condition. The history behind this clock makes this a priceless image.
