Something of a twofer as I used a Kaleidoscope action from Creative Effects Challenge No.45 (It doesn't look like it's still available for download) so fits the latest Creative Effects Challenge No 191 - I also used the cloth under the cookies as the background pattern. Tony, what a great idea -- a kaleidoscope! I really like your thinking-out-of-the-box. Well done!

I decided to create a watercolor version for this challenge. Used the Premio Watercolor Action I bought a while ago. I never leave it the way it turns out, so I did a lot of editing after using the action and am pleased with the result (more so than I was with the action's original result). Vicki, your tweaking of the action paid off. You achieved a very appealing watercolor effect. Great job!

- Took the file into AKVIS Frames (Magic Winter). - Applied a Color Lookup adjustment layer (Crisp Winter). - Applied a texture by Meredith Images (Silver Cosmos, Multiply blending mode, 75% Opacity). - Applied Moving Overlays (in PSE 2023). Click on image to play the animation.

Pete, great composite! The color-matching is perfect. How did you achieve this effect? It brings to mind Topaz Simplify.
