It's Wednesday again kids. And time for another challenge. This week lets see what you can do with this farmers field. Have fun, and lets see what you all can come up with.

Thanks Tom for the tutorial. This seems like a good way to add water to a seen. Good job everyone. Image from freeimages.

Mike, great idea and execution! Selective colorization was perfect for this image. How did you do the "bubbly" effect? It is intriguing. Thanks Sepiana. The bubbly effect is actually a texture I have. I think I got it from Flickr Texture & Backgrounds Group. I think it is raindrops on a window.

Thanks Sepiana for this starter image. Lots of great ideas so far on this. I thought I would do some selective color on it.

Well I have been cruising around town the last couple of days. There have been a few cars in town. More & more are showing up. I picked up a few shots yesterday. This first one was a pleasant surprise when I downloaded it. I was riding shotgun taking pictures. I was trying to get that Red Chevy Panel, but instead I got a picture of me taking the picture.
Then we stopped and walked around, and I got a few more.
I plan on getting out some more here before Saturday is over.

Great subject for this week Sepiana. It just happens to be one of the biggest car shows in Michigan going on this week in my home town. Back to the Bricks. 5 days of classic cars, street rods, rat rods, and some pretty cool creations. It starts today so I'll be out on the lookout. But I think Friday & Saturday will have the most cars. Last year I went, and they estimated about 10,000 to 12,000 cars & bikes. Plus this weekend I think the Woodward Cruise in Detroit is going on too.

Thanks Simone for this weeks challenge. I had some wizard figurines that I took some pictures of. Plus I had a not so good picture of the moon I took a couple of years ago. A few old designs I had, and this is what I came up with. Great job everyone. They all look like they could be on a album, or book cover.

Very nice effect you have here. I think I would try and find a nice old frame to mount it in. P.S. I'm with your signature about missing the old EV. This is nice, but it isn't the old EV. Some people are here, some are on FB, but then again some people are on both. Great job again.

Then I opened the second door, and there was a squirrel in a tree that was looking at me.

Thanks Tom for this weeks image. Great job everybody! After I looked at all these entries I was at a loss of what to do. OOB, Sketch, Cube, and everything else had been done already. So I went into Lightroom and made 2 copy's of it. One I made a high contrast B&W, the other I made B&W with selective coloring. Red & Green. Then I opened them both up in PSE and used Soft Light Blending mode. After that I thought the wall needed some color, so I selected it and changed the color. I know it's not much, but I did kill a couple of hours this morning making it.

Thanks Sepiana for this weeks Challenge. I have been thinking about it all week with no results. Then this morning I was in my workshop and seen this hammer I was using yesterday, and this song popped into my head. Now I can't seem to stop singing it. Peter Paul and Mary, If I Had A Hammer I'm sure most of the people here have heard it one time or another.
Here is a video:link
"AND I HAVE A HAMMER, AND I HAVE A BELL, AND I HAVE A SONG TOO SING, AND I HAVE LOVE BETWEEN MY BROTHER'S AND MY SISTER"S, ALL OVER THIS LAND!"

Thanks Sepiana for taking the time to post that for me. I always liked using her frames. Now I just have to remember how to install them.

Helen, Sepiana, Jack, Simone, and Metis, I love each and everyone of them. Good job to you all. Sepiana: I was wondering if you could point me too Jodi's website. I had her frames at one time. But when my computer crashed a couple of months ago, I lost my zip file of them. Yes Metis it does have a stronger effect on your subject the deeper the indentations. Thanks for pointing that out. Keep up the great work y'all, and keep them coming.

What a great job BillieJean, Dave, Frank you have done. Frank, I wish I could buy some flowers like that. I would have a whole yard full of them.
