Thank you Sue for the information. When I try to use system restore my computer locks up. I think I'll do a fresh install in a couple of days after I get all my stuff backed up.

Thanks Simone for the first CE challenge. Here is mine with some magnolia blossoms. Great job everybody. They all look good.

Thanks Sepiana, I looked at that site, but that's not what I was wanting to do. I was wanting to see if I could find older restore points from before this started to happen a couple of weeks ago. But even when I try to restore from storage disc, my computer locks up again. So I think it might be time to just do a reinstall. I might be gone for a couple of days while I do this again. Thanks again for all the help everyone.

Thank you all for your suggestions. On my System Restore, it doesn't show me a restore point before I encountered this problem. Is there a way I can go back farther in time to check to see if I have older restore points? Plus I can't install or run any kind of cleaners without the screen turning dark & locking up. I just tried updating my Java and the same thing. I get a message saying Canceled by Administrator. Oh well if I have to, I'll just reinstall Windows again. I just had to do it back in January when my computer crashed back then. Maybe it's time for a new computer. This one is 6 years old.

Thanks for the info Tom. I have Windows 7 64 bit. I have tried a couple of the suggestions on that website. But what is ever wrong won't let me run a scan. Every time I try to run some kind of a registry scan my screen just turns dark, and everything locks up again. Then I hit Ctrl,Alt,Del to open Task Manager and hit Cancel then everything goes back to normal. I am thinking I have a virus or some malware somewhere. I have Kaspersky Total Security installed, but when I scan my computer, it isn't finding anything. I'll work at it some more later. Right now I have to go mow my yard before it gets to hot. 86 degrees today here. Thanks again for your help.

Hi All, The other day I was working on something on my computer when it locked up. I couldn't do anything with it, so I turned it off by the on-off button. When I went to turn it back on I get this error message.
It says in case you can't read it ("The program can't start because credui.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem") When my computer first turns on I get a black screen with this message. After I click on OK a couple of times my logon screen comes up, and I can log on to my account. Then when I go to shut the computer off, I have to hit the OK button again to get the computer to shut off. Does anyone have a clue to what might be wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You!

Hi jackscrap, When your on Flickr, click the image you want to insert. When it comes up in a new window look down at the bottom and you will see an arrow going to the right. Click on that. It will bring up a dialog box. There will be a couple of options on it. Click the BBCode. Then copy the highlighted code. Then come to here PSE&M start a new message. At the bottom of the place that you are writing in there is a BBCode button. Click on that and copy your BBCode from Flickr into that. I hope that helps you. It took me 4 or 5 times to figure it out. So don't get discouraged.

I'm trying to figure out how to link back to Flickr. Every time I copy the BBCode I keep getting a message saying that the URL has to start with a HTTP, and end in a Jpeg.
Well I think I have it figured out now.
Hi verber10, would you mind sharing what you did because I've been having the very same problem, so I gave up and started using cubeupload.

Well Dick, I have some honey buns for desert. That's about all I have right now. Thanks for your comment.
Yes Bayla, it is kind of confusing how to post a picture on here. I'm thinking of starting one of the free webpages you get with like Google, and Yahoo, or something like that to post my pictures on.

Hello All, I finally got around to registering here at the new PSE&M. Looks different for sure. It will be great to still be able to communicate with everyone from EV. Thanks to everyone who helped set up this new site. Looks good. It will probably take me a while to figure out all the bells and whistles on this site. But it is good to be able to stay in contact with everyone. Have a great day!
