Hello Everyone, This weeks C-E Challenge is going to be using Displacement Maps. The tutorial is by Blue Lightning TV. Although he is using Photoshop, this can be done in PSE. Just follow his directions for making the Displacement Map. The only difference is in PSE you cannot convert a layer into a Smart Object. You can use any type of B-G for your Displacement Map. I used a picture of a rock that I took. The model is from morquefile. But he has a download for the brick wall if you would like to use it. Here is the video;link This is the one I did. I used a square picture, but if you want to tilt the image, a rectangular picture will work better.
Have fun, and let's get Creative.

Great b&w conversion and the ship blends in perfectly. Thanks Sydney for the nice comment.

People have really gotten creative with this, Mike! Love all the variations. It took me awhile to think of something but then I remembered these fighter jets from our 4th of July flyover! Wonderful job Helen blending those jets into the picture.

Well Sepiana I see your "Johnny on the Spot" again. Thank you so much for taking the time to fix this situation. I wouldn't have known about it until now. I guess it's time to figure out how to use CubeUpload. I have never used it because I usually just use postimage.org. But I used pixentral because the file was so big. Thanks again, your a lifesaver.

Well I spent a couple of hours playing this morning with this picture. I added a ship going up river, and converted it to B&W. I seem to be on a kick lately about B&W.

Thanks everyone for posting an image, or for helping each other out. They all look great. I guess I need to get going, and do something with this picture myself. This morning looks like a good morning since it's raining out. Keep up the good work everyone.

Thanks Helen for this weeks EP Challenge. I just basically converted to B&W in LR. In PSE I added an old 50's car to give it an old vintage look. Wonderful job all on your entries.

Thanks Tom for this challenge. It was interesting. I have never really knew about this Lomo Effect. I found your instructions very easy to follow. Good job everyone. This teenage young lady came in 2nd place at the kids lawnmower pulls. She beat her brother, and 24 other kids.

Thanks Sepiana for the starter image this week. Great job everyone on your entries. I finally got a chance this morning to work on it. It's raining cats & dogs outside right now. I don't remember the name of this effect, but I know we did it about a year or so ago on the old EV Be Creative.

Thank You all for the B-day wishes. Sorry I'm late replying. But I have been busy the last couple of days. I had a wonderful 4th, and Birthday. Lots of good food cooked on the grill, and surrounded by family, and good friends. Oh ya, and a few cold ones. Thanks Again, Mike.
