I think there should be a Share Techniques or Member Tutorials section here.

You can use any image you like for your cover photo. Hover your mouse over on the right-hand side near the top and you should see a message appear to edit your cover photo. Tom, Thanks. Just tried it out. I'm slowly learning to negotiate my way around Flickr. Bayla

Hi Bayla, That's a very cool timeline/headliner pic. you have on Flickr (your leaves with those water drops). In my post above this I had clicked on "quote" in your image post but saw nowhere to type in a reply after your photo. So I clicked on "create post" in hopes that that would do it, but it just displayed my post by itself. Do you know how I can quote someone's post here and then find the correct way to type in my response to that quote in the same post? Jim, Firstly the image of the leaves with water drops isn't mine - it's just what Flickr put - I assumed that everyone's header is the same or maybe Flickr randomly assigns different headliner pictures to everyone? To reply and quote all you need to do is click the word 'Quote' and then the quote appears in a box.....all you need to do is to start typing underneath, like I have done here, and then click on Create Post. Will admit to being confused. There are a half dozen or so Individual User Galleries at present but they all seem to work differently: some people's pictures you can click on and get redirected to another website, whilst some people's images seem to be embedded and you can't click on them, and others have the ability to be clicked on but you just see a different thumbnail, not a larger picture.
How is everyone creating their galleries?

I read in the Village about playing with brushes on a backround of gradient in difference mode, but couldn't find the post again. I thougth I could post it here. Marianne, Was it THIS POST? Am I allowed to post a link to EV by the way? I'm sure Wendy would be tickled pink to think that her tutorials aren't just being dumped with the demise of the Village but are following us to a new forum! Very pretty abstract btw. I love experimenting with gradients. Bayla

Phil, I just did it! Went to a picture on Flickr, clicked on the little right pointing arrow at the bottom of the page (if you hover over it it says 'share this photo), then copied the url that came up and pasted it directly into this post.(see below) Does that help at all? Bayla

Tried to upload from Flickr....but it couldn't work out how to do it, so uploaded from my computer instead! My question is....how to get it so that when you click on the thumbnail the photo that opens up isn't so big! Bayla EDIT: Think I've sorted the size out.....

At EV I often subscribe to a thread without actually posting. If you go to Actions & then click on Bookmark is that the same as subscribing to a thread?

Sometimes at EV I preferred to view all the posts from the past 24 hours. Is there an option to do the same here?
