Two photos taken this morning:
At my advanced age, I am thankful to wake up each morning and find myself still alive and kicking!

I am profoundly thankful for my eyesight, which allows me to enjoy the wonderful colours of autumn this year. preview.ibb.co/jGSkyR/River.jpg

Amen to that Dennis! I enjoyed your thoughts and photos.

Bob, I haven't used Luminar, so cannot comment on this either. Just curious why you may be thinking about the switch? Is it due to the recent changes Adobe made regarding Lightroom? Simone, I'm still on LR5 and actually quite content. It is just that I have been seeing some comments from folks who have the non CC LR6 and are looking for an alternative such as Luminar. I guess I am just curious if anyone has any experience using Luminar.

Is anyone considering a switch to Luminar from Lighroom? Does anyone have experience with Luminar?

I enjoy seeing all three photos. Probably the last one is my favorite because of the sun rays and shadows. The middle one is almost the same view I have here from a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Sadly the fall season and colors are coming to an end. Thanks for sharing.

bobharron ......I think it's perfect for a B/W conversion. Removing the color has put the emphasis directly on the artist and his painting. There are no bits of color pulling your eye in another direction. And yes, the removal of the hose and the tourists help. However, even with them out of the picture, I still think the canopy in the background or the green bushes might pull your eye away from the subject. Thanks Helen. I could select the artist and blur the background. I might give it a try and see if it makes a difference. Bob
