I ran into this video tutorial on How to Make a Caricature Effect from a Photo using Photoshop Elements and tried it out on a recent Endless Possibilities Challenge. Thought it might make for an interesting Creative Effects Challenge. It does use "Adjust Facial Features" in PSE. This was introduced in PSE 15 . If you have an earlier version you could try using Liquify or skip to the filter stage. The need to straighten faces as described in the video appears to have been fixed so may not be needed. If you have Photoshop the equivalent is Face Aware Liquify and it works much the same as Adjust Facial Features in PSE. The first 6 minutes of the video are straightening and selecting the portrait and replacing the background. This may or may not be needed depending on your starter image. From 6-9 minutes are adjusting the facial features to make more of a caricature. As noted in the video you can Adjust Facial Features more than once if it doesn't do enough the first time. From 9 minutes on are the filter effects. One thing I found useful was to set the blend mode to Screen before applying Poster Edges as that makes it easier to see the effects of the sliders on the end result. You can do the same with the Hi Pass filter layer. I also found the Overlay blending mode worked better than Vivid Light for my image but all the blend modes in that group could be used. You don't need to start with a face - feel free to experiment with anything! Here's my Before and After you might recognize the face - (I got it from Pixabay) Looking forward to seeing your caricatures. Tony

Here's my attempt..... Image from StockSolo I usually post images to fit between 2047x2048 pixels. I have reduced the images these to fit between 1000x1000. Not sure why they are coming in so large.

Excellent caricatures from everyone. Interesting to see it working not just on human faces but also on dogs and what looks old engines! Kids do seem to work particularly well - having a smooth skin is probably good.
