I picked up this onion flower from the allotment because I liked the shape of it. Photographed it against a black background and then added a purple hue and a few contrast/brightness adjustments to produce the picture.  |

I like your idea of adding the tint and the frame. This might be a nice image to start a gallery with. You can find directions as to how to do that here. |
