Took my initial edit and applied a Lineart filter from GMIC . To that I added a gray solid colour fill layer at 80% opacity. Added a grunge frame from All-Free-Download.com and completed the composition with a film frame from Hiclipart. Used the initial edit as the background at a reduced opacity of 50% on top of a white BG layer.  |

Thank you for this challenge Helen. I like all the different creative versions. Here is my take. Adjusted in Adobe Camera Raw Inspired by FotoFrank "repaired" the Neon Sign Removed the distracting chimney Applied the filter Redfield Quad pencil default preset set to 50% opacity normal blend mode. Here is my second take after the basic raw conversion. Cropped with content aware to give a tad more sky at the top Applied the Redfield Quadpencil filter with the "Le BigMac" preset. (A strange name for a preset, but it really exists!) Transparency set to 85%. Applied a Jixipix chromatic edges border. Kind regards Chris  |
