Thanks to all for your posts so far. I think we are on the right track, EXCEPT me. I neglected to define street photography. (Red face emoji) I am not sure that I even knew. There are many online articles.

What is street photography?

I like this comment as it is far reaching:
Street photography is a visual documentation of everyday life and society. It’s commonly referred to as a candid representation of humanity, however, a person doesn’t need to be in an image for it to be considered street photography. This type of photography takes place exclusively in public areas, albeit not necessarily on the street.

There was discussion about a street photograph thread in this thread started by Howard . Thanks Howard.
This is an effort to see what our members have for "street photography" photos. I have limited street photos as it is not something that I do much of.
Here are a few photo from assorted places.

I still have trouble remembering that it doesn't cost anything to take thousands of pictures; it just almost seems impossible to be true.

Until I was thirty years old, I had never heard one referred to as a "Harmonica"; they were either a "Mouth Organ" or a "French Harp"

Another good drop-it-in-your-pocket choice would have been a Jew's Harp; I've got one of those in a drawer around here somewhere; I need to look it up and work on my technique; maybe get another one for my little buddy and we can play a duet; for now, she can play her French Harp and I can play my Jew's Harp.

Yup. Always a mouth organ in my youth.
BTW, as I recall that white car behind the harpist was his care so he did not have to schlep the harp far.
But they are not exactly "parade" or "party" friendly. "Hey, gang I'll bring my 200-pound harp over for a sing song."

Took a quick look and came up with these, Clive.

Taken in Delft in the Netherlands.

What is hard to tell in the photo below is that they were lined up in front of a store selling beer.

I was kind of surprised to see these three little bikers out on their own.

Liked the backdrop for this boy on the bike.

Her colorful outfit caught my eye.

I like the more liberal definition as being "public places" vs just streets.
