Have just dowloaded the 30 day trial and given the new Shake Reduction and Haze Removal a work out. They have both performed very well. For me these 2 options alone are worth the upgrade.

I forgot that we can trial it for 30 days - I will have to d/l it and have a play with the new features. Looking at some of my pics the shake reduction feature might be just what the doctor ordered.

Here's an example of shake reduction. Don't know how well it shows though. Top one is before, bottom one after.

I can certainly see the difference. I wasn't going to upgrade this time round but now I'm having to think about it.

I think I'm ready to upgrade - merely because I want to play.
Maybe, I should order that new computer, too. And, maybe that new iPad
Oh oh - I can see where this is heading already.

Scania I can see the difference in your first upload of the flowering tree using the Shake Reduction. It's subtle but it is definitely there. Your second upload using Haze reduction speaks for itself…wow…

An extra step was added to Guided Edit in Elements 14. Once you are done editing your image in this mode, you can now decide what to do next.
- Save your image. - Continue editing it in either Quick or Expert mode. - Share it online.

I'm impressed by Scania's two examples However, regarding the Shake Reduction, yes, to me it looks sharper. Scania, any chance you could also do an image using the 'Sharpen' image thing so we can compare how it differs, please? I'd be very interested in seeing that, if possible. Many thanks for testing v14 out and showing us what it can do Julie

When you say 'Sharpen image thing' do you mean the usual sharpening methods found in PSE or another example of Shake reduction? Let me know and I'll see what I can do.
