Phil, I can see the reduction of camera shake if I study the twigs in between the flowers. The haze removal is fantastic!
The new resize function looks promising.

Is there anyway to upgrade for the advertised price of $79.99?
I have a Mac Book, OS10.10.5 or is this one of the CC things that you can only get a package. I tried the download but it didn't work.

Julie. When you say 'Sharpen image thing' do you mean the usual sharpening methods found in PSE or another example of Shake reduction? Let me know and I'll see what I can do. Hi Scania Sorry for being so lazy and not opening PSE and checking Yes, I was thinking of the 'Adjust Sharpness' under Enhance, or the Auto Sharpen. I haven't ever used these, I have to say, but I just wondered how they compared. Many thanks Julie

Many thanks Julie Just adding some clarification about comparing Shake Reduction vs Adjust Sharpness/Unsharp Mask as these commands have a different purpose. Shake Reduction -- It was designed to remove blur caused by shaking of your camera. It analyzes your image to see how the blur occurred and tries to correct it; basically it looks for ghosting in your image as caused by a shaky camera situation. Consequently, your image will be sharper and with more details. However, Shake Reduction will not correct all blur. For example, it won’t correct blurring which is caused by your image being out of focus.
Adjust Sharpness/Unsharp Mask -- These two features were designed to sharpen existing pixels without analyzing your image to learn how the blur came about.
Therefore, in many cases this won’t be an either/or situation but a both situation -- Begin by using Shake Reduction (which requires the most original data in order to find the blur) and then use Adjust Sharpness/Unsharp Mask.

Berie Yes. In the link posted at the beginning of this thread, click on "Upgrade now". This will take you to the Adobe page where you sign-in with your Adobe ID to start the purchase process. If you choose the Upgrade price, you will be required to fill in the "I own" box.

US price for Upgrade is $79.99 ; UK price for Upgrade is £64.81
So, in US, you are paying the equivalent of only £52.69 to upgrade
When will organisations sort out this pricing? It's not as if it's due to delivery charge as it's a download!

Don't you have VAT equivalent? You maybe pay on a different tax?

Don't you have VAT equivalent? You maybe pay on a different tax? In the USA sales taxes are administered at the state level; there is no national general sales taxes. Adobe will calculate the sales taxes according to where you live.

I'm trying to download the PSE 14 update for $79.99 to my PSE 13.l. Nothing happens. They only offer me the $239.97 version.
Is this because I have only the single version of PSE 13.l and am not a part of the package (CC) etc.?
I presently have on my MacBook Pro OS 10.10.5.
Berie, the perplexed as usual.

Berie,
I don't understand why that is happening for you. Although I'm not intending to get the new version, I just clicked the link in the first post in this thread and when I went to upload now the price was $79.99. This isn't related to the CC subscription. You used the link in the first post, right? I am as perplexed as you are.

Berie, I have just tried the link again and I am now seeing this:
So it is not just you! When I tried before I got the $79.95 price. Just trying now I can see the problem you describe. Now to fix it! Stay tuned EDIT If you look at the quantity in the post above you see that there are 3 items, that is why the price is coming up at $239.97! I emptied the cart so the link should work now but the windows/mac option is greyed out. Perhaps Sepiana will get this figured out when she comes on.

I believe Helen solved the problem already. She is correct. The $239.97 amount reflects the purchase of 3 copies of Elements 14 at the Upgrade price of $79.99 each. Just remove the two extra copies from your cart.
As a side note -- Elements is not part of the Creative Cloud (CC). Furthermore, each version of Elements is an independent one. This means that a newer version is not an update to the previous version. Your eligibility to pay the Upgrade price for a newer version of Elements is determined by your status -- no previous ownership vs. previous ownership of Elements.
