Please exuse my ignorance but could someone explain how OnOne Perfect Effects relates to Elements? I'm just confused with all the different ones which, seemingly, make up the 'Suite' or something? I don't have Lightroom, Topaz etc, only Elements (v12). Can I use On1 Perfect Effects with Elements only? Thanks very much. Sorry for sounding so daft Edit: Also, is this a Trial or a 'proper' installed program, please? Is there an expiry date for this free download? Again, many thanks J

Perfect Photo Suite 9.5 consists of seven applications; Perfect Effects is one of them. Perfect Effects can also be purchased as a single product. In addition, there is a free version.
Perfect Effects can be installed as either a standalone or as a plug-in within Elements, Photoshop, and Lightroom. Please note that as a plug-in Perfect Effects is compatible with only Elements 11 and above.
EDIT: This "free" offer is not for the trial.

In which case, perhaps there are pros & cons for each method? What's your advice, please? By the way, I have downloaded it this evening Julie
