ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed, but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

This bridge got all flummoxed when a wall of water crashed into it during a flood. They had it all blocked off, which, of course, meant that I absolutely had to climb up on it to shoot down the walkway. I'm sure glad my inner kid never grew up.

Portland's newest bridge, Tilikum Crossing, is pedestrian, bike, bus and light-rail only. No cars allowed! Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Some great shots of interesting bridges. This bridge, along a hiking trail that we were on today, is not so interesting as bridges go but is the only way to get to the spot where I took this picture and a few others of the rapids and falls below. Tony

Tony Tony, what a capture! Man-made (bridge) in a nature-made setting. I love how you composed your shot. Great job!

These were taken today, from the Tees Barrage. The newest bridge on the River is the Infinity Bridge. It is pedestrian and cycles only. The next is the Tees Barrage Bridge. The third is over the white water course.

This is the bridge connecting Highlands and Sea Bright. It replaced the 63 year-old drawbridge which often got stuck in the up position frustrating motorists who were headed to the shore in the summer. It took about two years to build and was completed a few years ago. Helen, I really like how you composed your shot -- looking upwards and with the bridge going across the frame diagonally.
