Two bridges on the Vedder River in Chilliwack. The new bridge opened to traffic in August and the old bridge which was built in 1948 is being dismantled. Pauline, this is a great shot (two bridges for the price of one)! Beautiful composition -- with the curvy lines of the river banks drawing our eyes into the image.

1826 Calvin Barber Bridge over the Farmington Canal towpath Frank, beautiful tones, clear details. One can almost "feel" the texture on the bridge structure. Great job!

Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver, BC and a few quick facts: 450 feet long 230 feet above Capilano River How much weight it can hold.......96 Full Grown Elephants! As per fact sheet! Wayne, you picked the right spot to take your shot from; you captured this suspension bridge in its entirety. I really like the inclusion of the human element in your composition. I'm sorry, but the Elephants weren't there that day!

Judy, what a beautiful image! I love the composition (looking upwards at the bridge) and the B&W processing. Well done!
