For this week’s Creative Effects Challenge – We are going to take an Image 
and change it to this
Let’s get started. All screen shots are from Elements 15, however it’s about the same in other versions.
1. Open an image.
a. This will work on either Portrait or Landscape layouts.
2. Duplicate the Image (PC – Ctrl+j, MAC Cmd+j)
3. Transform the image (PC – Ctrl+t, MAC Cmd+t) with the setting shown below.
a. MAKE SURE THAT CONSTRAIN PROPORTIONS IS CHECKED
b. Set the Width (W) to 80. The Height (H) will automatically change. The Degree should be 0.00.
c. Press Return/Enter to confirm twice or click on the Green Check
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3, five more times.
5. On the top layer add an inner shadow and stroke from the styles tab.
6. Once the styles are applied to the top layer, while holding down the Alt (PC or Option key (MAC) click and hold on the fx and drag it to the layer below. You should now have the styles applied to two layers.
7. Repeat step 6 for the remaining layers – not the background layer.
8. Your Done – as a note you can go back and add to or adjust the Layer styles at anytime by double clicking on the fx
This sample image is 800x600 pixels at 72dpi you may need to adjust the styles based on your image size.

As a bonus, I am providing an Action that does all of this for you. (Hopefully) no mess – no fuss just load and run. It works in Elements and the full version of Photoshop.
Load the FotoFrank action, click to open the fotofrank folder and run the mystacking action.
