Good Evening All, I have been looking for some template as per title. So far i dont seem to have found them. So ive come here hoping there is some help. As per sketch i am looking for 3 templates. Here is the site it will be used on,click on a thumbnail to load the full size image. I wish to use the template to make a collage/picture frame just so i can load the 1 image into my site BUT depending on the template used would show 2,3 or 4 images on it. Dont require anything fancy in respect of large borders etc but just the template background etc with small border & divided into 2,3,4 sections. I would then import the 1st photo into the first part of the template but it must allow me to size it so i can place it where i want. Ive seen where you drag handles etc but ive seen and think its better that the photo can be moved around and some would be behind the border if you see what i mean. I will then save the item as a jpg and upload. Hope you can help, many thanks

Hi, Sorry that was a rude reply.
I am using elements 7,in the collage maker that comes with it i see an option to make 2 photos up. Ive saved this as a psd doc and reopened it again. I am having to drag handles etc.
How can i make a frame and just drop / move the image around within the frame.
Thanks

The collage maker in Elements (including version 7 which I also have) is a bit limited as to what you can do. I would suggest you venture into creating your template(s) from scratch. Here are some instructions.

Can you advise how i resize the black frame. Im looking to get 4 the same size. Will you please give us some more details? Are you talking about the built-in feature in Elements 7 or the other suggestions posted?

The suggested post.
I need 4 black holders the same size,so basically divide the screen into 4.
I am expecting to then drag 4 photos onto each holder.
reading the instructions it mentions clipping mask from layers but i do not see this.
I am using elements 7 i believe

In Elements 7 the command is . . . "Group with Previous". The shortcut is Ctrl+G.

I am not sure this is what i require. If the 4 frames were fixed to the background and i could import an image below the frame.
Currently you are dragging images onto the black holder & quite a bit of guessing.
I need each to look the same. Hence the frame ontop the images are a fixed size

Hi I haven't read all the replies, hopefully my reply won't cause confusion. If you are familiar with layers and clipping masks, this image shows the tutorial steps. I first opened the Two by Two template. I then dragged and dropped an image onto the template. Layer 1 in the Layers panel shows where the image was place and clipped to Layer A. Once the move tool was selected a bounding box appears and it allows the movement and sizing of the image to take place. I then dragged another image onto the template (Layer 2). A bounding box is shown on the template for the image on layer 2 and clipped to Layer D. For clarification of the layers panel, the first three layers shown have been turned off.

That doesnt move the imported photo to the black holder First you move your photo just above the black holder layer. Next, you do . . . Group with Previous.
