There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by billz . (Thanks, Bill!)

I got these shots yesterday on a visit to the Sky Garden in London. The first is our view from street level between the two buildings and the second is my attempt to zoom in on the three cleaners working their vertiginous way down the high-rise. The third shot is 38 floors up in the Sky Garden itself - a sub-tropical greenhouse with panoramic views of London in all directions. Incidentally, for anybody thinking of visiting London this summer, the Sky Garden is free, all you have to do is book your time slot online. You can even get tea/coffee/drinks/snacks up there at exorbitant prices.

To deliberately jump out of a perfectly working airplane just doesn't seem natural to me , but people do it !!

Great comment, bailey. I had been hoping to get people descending. But it is so miserable here today, everyone was staying home - except daft dog walkers.

I had been hoping to get a top down picture of this spiral staircase outside the local town hall but it's been declared unsafe, closed off at the bottom and "for decorative purposes only" - so I had to shoot from the bottom up. Finally the sun shone today and I'd left my lens hood at home which may account for the sun spots. But it was nice to see them! Tony

descending the stairs at the NBMMA... Frank, great shot! I love the different geometric shapes. It is the kind of image that makes one go back to it.

Brenda, I love what you did here! Three shots showing different angles of Descent; colorful, sharp, with clear details. My favorite is the 2nd one. It really highlights the vertiginous way down.

Great comment, bailey. There is no way in the world anyone is going to get me to jump out of a perfectly functioning aircraft in the knowledge that if I did, then the only thing between eternity and me is the hope that the parachute opens when the rip cord is pulled.

whippet, great eyes! You captured two interesting examples of Descent. I really like the spiral one.
