I'm trying to download an image from Flickr but can't seem to fathom out how. Could somebody show me the 'error of my ways' please.
Thanks, Phil.

Thanks MajorMajor. That item only tells how to ensure your images have the correct settings to show in the forum. I cannot find a method of downloading direct from Flickr to a post within the Forum. The only way I have found is via Postimage or as an attachment directly from hard drive. Is this the only way to do it?

Phil, I just did it! Went to a picture on Flickr, clicked on the little right pointing arrow at the bottom of the page (if you hover over it it says 'share this photo), then copied the url that came up and pasted it directly into this post.(see below) Does that help at all? Bayla

Hi Bayla, That's a very cool timeline/headliner pic. you have on Flickr (your leaves with those water drops). In my post above this I had clicked on "quote" in your image post but saw nowhere to type in a reply after your photo. So I clicked on "create post" in hopes that that would do it, but it just displayed my post by itself. Do you know how I can quote someone's post here and then find the correct way to type in my response to that quote in the same post?

It will let me type my message right after the word Bayla (and above her photo) but when I did a test run of my msg. and clicked "Create post" it didn't turn out right. Should I have just hit "enter" instead of create post? I then couldn't find any way to delete my test post, so there it sits.
Is there no way we can delete our post, once it has been entered?

Jim, Firstly the image of the leaves with water drops isn't mine - it's just what Flickr put - I assumed that everyone's header is the same or maybe Flickr randomly assigns different headliner pictures to everyone? To reply and quote all you need to do is click the word 'Quote' and then the quote appears in a box.....all you need to do is to start typing underneath, like I have done here, and then click on Create Post. Jim - At the upper right hand corner of the message box there is a gear icon. Click on it and you will see that one of the options is to delete your message.

Hi Bayla, You can use any image you like for your cover photo. Hover your mouse over on the right-hand side near the top and you should see a message appear to edit your cover photo.

Bayla, As you can see, after I clicked "quote" on your post, the only "quote" that showed up in my reply was the quote of MY original post to you. It does show my reply, but my words just appear as an extension of your post, so I don't get it. I'm finding this test forum's system very awkward to navigate.
