There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme was suggested by kdcintx . (Thanks, kdcintx!) This is what the Artistically Blurred Photo theme is all about in kdcintx's own words.

kdcintx .......I have long admired this technique but have yet to produce anything I'm happy with. Hope to have a play with this technique again.....when it stops raining I especially like the way your playground came out!

Thank you Helen. It is certainly a trial and error technique. I may take 15-20 shots to get 1 photo I like.

Don't know how successful these are but I did just return from trying this technique again. I found that using the 2-second timer and a polarizer helped. Hope to try again.....

Helen - I especially like the effect on the foliage/flowers in the background. Very interesting.

Thanks kdcintx for the theme suggestion and Sepiana for coordinating the challenge! My try follows the rules for the most part (ISO 100, f16, 1/9 second exposure with a 3-stop ND filter), but I liked the clockwise rotation which lends a "dripping" effect.

A Building Playgroud equipment Chairs in front of a Fence
kdcintx, three great examples of artistically blurred photos! My favorite is the third one. It is the kind of photo which draws one back to it again and again due to the abstract effect you achieved.

Helen, I really like the first image. Very interesting effect on the flowers and leaves. Great choice of subject for this technique!

Bill, you chose a great subject for this technique. I love the results -- minimalist + surreal. It is definitely an eye-catching image.

Here's looking through the crabapple tree and I zoomed in and out at about 1 second shutter speed
Judy, your technique resulted in a very interesting image -- abstract, with a kind of hypnotic effect. Great job!

Really amazing results. Who needs Elements, when you can do that. Well me, of course.
