Quote - Now see what you started. Got me going on masks again…lol. I am really pleased that Helen did that, Lillias. Even though I admire scrapbooking, this is more my taste. I am determined to conquer it.

We went to Ocean Grove today, a charming little Victorian town, not far from where we live. When we got home I tried to come up with some pictures that might work together for a page.....so here ya go, Lillias. Looking at your post I thought I might be able to figure out how to create that partial frame....but I could not.

I like this Helen. Love the texture, the layout and how one of the windows slightly overlaps the other and I love that quote. Tomorrow I’ll put up something to help with creating the partial frame…

OK here is how to create the partial frame...If you want to use it in future remember to save the file as a png file to preserve the transparency. BG paper from the Captivating kit by G&T Designs.

Very Nice work Helen. If you have the full version of photoshop, that is what the fill slider does. Set the fill to 0% and apply effect and then you Rasterize the layer (same as Simplify). At that point you can Mask as needed.

Thanks, Frank. That's close but not exactly what I had in mind.....see Lillias' post above. I'll have to try the method you have illustrated as well. That's one ugly dude..... This is the post I was referring to......I did find a way to do it though it may not be that visible in my page!

Beautiful page moss and nicely presented. I'm glad you found the partial frame useful and as you say it could be used in many instances. Sometimes you just want to suggest a frame instead of putting on an actual frame and this is perfect for that.
