For our third photo edit challenge we are using a dng file. This should allow you to edit the image in whatever RAW editor you prefer. The only corrections that have been made are camera profile and leveled. External editors....NIK, Topaz etc. may be used.
New for this challenge will be the use of textures. Because they are part of the effects possible using On1, and available to members using the Topaz plug-in Texture Effects, I thought it might add to the creative process to allow members to make use of their own created or purchased textures. If you choose to use a texture, please credit the source if possible. This will help other members who might be interested in obtaining a particular texture.
The purpose is to share your creative vision for the image. Hopefully we can all learn from and inspire each other in this fun challenge.
Here are the rules:
1. Everyone will work on this same image.
2. You will have two weeks to complete this challenge and may submit more than one edit. Challenge will end on December 1, 2018.
3. You may not add clip-art, create a composite or use someone else's action.
4. Please be sure to give a summary of what you did to achieve your final look.
5. Comments are restricted to complimenting someone's edit or asking a question about their process. You are not to critique someone's submission.
6. At the end of the challenge the three top edits will be chosen by the person who has submitted the image.
7. Hope you have fun with this challenge.
8. If you have any questions please PM me so that we can keep the posts restricted to edits of the photo and compliments for a particular edit.
9. Please consider contributing an image for a future challenge!
