The elusive "Irish Knit" sweater that I mentioned a few weeks ago and no one knew what it was.  My mother knit this for me in ca 1966-1967. She moved back to England in '67 and I had it before she moved. So it's about 52 years old and a bit tattered at the cuffs and elsewhere. I wore it a few years ago, but not for years. It's pretty neat. I'll have to badger "home management" to do some repairs. It is in her pile of repairs ... but quilting is more important.  So now what? How about the inside of a greenhouse with plants growing: flowers or veggies.

With 4 grandsons there are lots of baseball games to attend......if you look carefully you will see the ball that he just hit.

OK ... I'll respond to my own request. These 2 are scouts and this was them exploring a local (VA) stream while on a bike ride with me.
Not exactly high adventure, but is was AN adventure for them.
I'd like to see kids (under 18) enjoying themselves in an outdoor activity.

Thanks for getting this going again, Pete! Here are two....I love the first one but it only has one child and since you requested kids I'm adding the second one.   I'd like to see a bird's nest......don't think that should be too hard to find. |
