I keep getting a message "select is unavailable" or "no pixels were chosen'. I have Elements 2019 so I thought the action would work seamlessly? Also, the action takes forever to complete. Am I the only one having this problem? This action is SO COOL and I want it to work........ I got exactly the same - except Command instead of Select. I didn't count, but I must have had hundreds of layers. I have given up.

I did and I discovered two things. My selection was not being recorded on the blank layer at the very start and I had downloaded the brushes and textures, but had not actually loaded them into PSE!
Once I did this, the action worked, although I still had a few errors where commands were unavailable. The whole process was much faster.
When I get some time, I will post something.
