Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

We found a friend of Mrs. B painting her letterbox when we went to visit her. She asked me to take a photo using her camera. She wasn't too keen on having her face on the www though when I asked if I can post the photo here  |

Unlike personal mailboxes which many people customize similar to Dennis' image from last week; our condo mailboxes are strictly functional.  |

It's getting harder and harder to find a place to mail a letter here but at least when you do find one they are a bit more photogenic than the "big old red boxes" The decoration is using the first three characters of the 6 character Canadian Postal Code - the first three being the geographic area. In the lobby of the old Post Office. 
And just for grins ... here's the rest of the lobby. The post office is no longer in use, but the upper floors serve as a courthouse. I understand they are gorgeous ... and sometimes offer tours!  |

A combination of this week's theme and national pride incentivized me to head straight to our local High Street to photograph a mail/letter box which honours a local British athlete, as the second shot shows.
Dennis, you should also be proud of yourself! Quite an interpretation of this week’s theme and quite a capture! Two well-composed, very sharp, and detailed images.

Helen, it may be so but they make a very interesting subject -- lines, shapes, angles. Very geometric. Great finding!
