Another nice one Tony. I'm liking the smart brush effects.

- Applied the Find Edges filter before using the Smart Brush tool. - Ran the file through Topaz Studio (Giclee Print II). - Applied the Texturizer filter (Canvas). - Created the background with an Adobe Paper Texture Pro (Brushed Rose). - Created the frame effect with ON1 Photo RAW (Ghosted Border Dark) - Image source: Pixabay.

Sorry I am a bit late but here is my try. Thank you so much for the challenge I basically followed Lillias tutorial and added a little fog and saturation. Image from Pixabay

Well done moss. Love how you left his face and hand it kind of accentuates the sketch part. The fog is a nice addition to the scene too. It lends to the feeling of abject dejection or loneliness that the photo appears to portray. Thanks for including the original for comparison.

Smart Brush sketch effect and brushed some colour back into the flower. Also put a bevel effect on the flower to give some texture. Image from morguefile.

Inspired by Lillias' post above combined this technique with the EP challenge image. Used Bass Relief in the filter gallery.....and lowered the opacity to 43%......duplicated the layer using soft light blend mode...adjusted opacity and added a mask to retain the lighter color in the original area.
