After my walk this afternoon, I drove to the south edge of Lethbridge as I thought some sky magic was about to happen. The sky was okay, but not what I expected. Took a bunch of shots for panos (meh) and then took a couple of semi tele shots of the mountains about 90 km to the SW of where I was. This was shot at 368 mm focal length. Using this texture video, I first added a "watercolored" layer and then added sandstone texture to a copy of that layer.

Well, look at you, Clive! Welcome to the world of textures. I've always liked the sandstone texture and it works well with your "watercolor".

Bunnies are turning into quite a problem here, but they are SO cute! This is mostly bunny, a bit of surrounding grass and texture.

Very nice, Pat. You have a very unique approach to using textures.

Texture ‘winter morning canvas’ by Jai Johnson Image from Pixabay. Applied a black layer mask and brushed with a soft white brush. Blended the texture with the ‘colour’ blend mode and brought a little colour back to his eyes.

Agree with Pat, Lillias. If not a frame, maybe a post in the IOW thread? Just a suggestion....up to you!

This is a composite of two images... Texture ‘autumn morning’ by Jai Johnson Images from Pixabay. Applied a black layer mask to the car image layer and using a soft brush with white brushed some of the mask away to reveal parts of the image below. Applied a white layer mask to the tree image and using a black brush brushed out the parts of the image I didn’t want. Placed a copy of the BG layer on top and gave that the ‘Colour’ blend mode. On the very top layers I added 2 Grainy vignette overlays from Design Bundles at reduced opacities.

WOW....this looks great, Lillias! The tones, texture and light work beautifully together.
