Judy beautifully toned.....like how crisp your water drops are.
Clive....like the faint hint of light on the background flowers and the large amount of space you gave to the sky. Very nice!

Pat, this is an interesting approach to minimalism. By removing the color you have created an image defined by its shape.

That's special Pat. Great eye. My last kick at this fun challenge. Thanks Helen!! The bench. It sits about 150 meters from our house in the park. It's a memorial bench to a man who died far too young. November 11, 2020. EDIT: I switched versions of this photo.

Your leaf is beautifully photographed, Clive. You have captured the fine granules and subtle shadowing in the snow.

The fog was rolling around every which way and steam was rising from the river. It seemed pretty minimalist out there. Thanks for the theme Helen!

Not sure if this counts as minimalist but with the new easy sky replacement I've been adding to my sky collection and tonight was an interesting one so had to grab a picture. In colour it was nothing like as dramatic as when converted to B&W using the B&W 08 profile in ACR/LR at 125%. Tony

Love how fog can transform a scene, Bill. Three very different takes on the minimalist theme. The middle one works especially well for the theme.
That is one outstanding sky, Tony! I love all the whispy threads (?). Someone I am sure will provide a better descriptor.... The bottom branches are minimal in the scene so it works for me.

I'm glad that you decided to give this another try, Peterj. The lower right placement of the flower was a better choice. I like the texture but think that a flower with a shape that wasn't so compact might have worked even better. With your permission, I would like to post an image of yours that you have posted that I think would work very well for this challenge.
