I think your moon and cactus would make a beautiful B/W minimalist image. Actually, I think you might have two submissions from this one photo.

Try it with just the horse and no other pieces and then it would work for sure. As an instructor would try to beat into me - "work the subject" something I don't do enough of.

Jim, I am not sure either but I do like the minimal focus on the horse. I find it a very interesting image.
Judy, thanks for sharing your thoughts on Jim's image. Isolating the horse would certainly create a minimalist image.
The shell and spoon are two nice additions to this challenge.
