Couldn't resist taking a picture of this clock that I saw at a friend's today. Digital? Kidding. Methinks that is an old clock.

Red-tailed hawk. Went to the co-op in the village today and was lucky to get the hawk flying off a power pole.

The pleasures of gardening. And a reminder not to pick up plant pots by the rim! Redback/Black Widow. Not the best shot but had to be fast with my mobile.

Another good reason why I wear thick gloves when out in the garden. They love living under the lid of my worm farm, so I'm always careful to look out for them.

Ocean Grove NJ.....taken after dinner tonight. I always feel like I am on vacation when we go to this seaside town.

I always feel like I am on vacation when we go to this seaside town. Well, I hope you are on a mini vacation. Love the top photo. How did you take the first photo? From a pier? Did Helen get a drone?

Did Helen get a drone? Well that's a scary thought! But you were right; it was taken from a pier. Love the first photo in particular - so much movement and balance. Thanks, Howard. It was a lovely night.

I have been trying to get this picture of our "new neighbors" all at home at the same time for a couple of weeks now.....thinking there is a scrap page in my future.

Went for a short walk in a local bushland sanctuary this morning. Alas not much happening in terms of wildlife or wildflowers and the light was pretty poor but did find these lovelies. Not sure what they are called but they are quite common. They grow a single flower stem with these beautiful flowers on top. This was taken on the edge of an escarpment - the stems are actually about 10m high. They look almost prehistoric to me.

The Full Moon yesterday (31 Aug 2023). Sharpened in PSE 2020 using Foto Franks Invert Blur method and Topaz photo AI and some tweaking in Lightroom (clarity etc). Taken on a cheap lens with a built in teleconverter set to 1300 mm, 1/125 at F16. Excellent job done here Chris!!!
