Quite a vantage point in that second image, jackscrap ! I know, I’m on the 45th floor! Hello jackscrap As a Melbournite you may well know already but just in case...the Hellenic Museum in Melbourne, in the old mint I think, has a small but wonderful exhibition of Bill Henson's work. It is themed using original artefacts from ancient Greece and in a lovely room which I could have sat in for hours, enjoying the Chesterfield sofas and listening to the peaceful classical music (ironic from an old ex-punk who saw the Clash and the Ramones live!). I recently bought the accompanying photobook online and it's small but exquisite. Well worth a visit just for the museum itself. Plus only minutes from Victoria markets. Oneiroi

Chicago and Bricks i.ibb.co/4ZrbQ8x/Chicago-brickwork.jpgAfter the Great Fire, Chicago went to all bricks for buildings. Some of the older buildings have really beautiful or original brickwork. But, lest you think it all beautiful, it's not. So and example of this first. Because you'll probably see more of this in the future. That's because Chicago is my new Home Town cjt

Had a good day. My wife had a 3-hour gig in the city so I drove her in and then went for a walk in the river valley. After dinner I went to the ponds across the road. A good day. Eclipse male mallard cleared for landing. White-breasted nuthatch in the river bottom.

There is a Microsoft App called 'Phone Link' for Windows 10 and 11. Once an Android phone has been wirelessly linked, all the photos on the phone can be seen on the computer and downloaded to a folder/location of choice. It's also possible to read and send text messages from the computer with the App installed. Edit: Phone link is available free from the Microsoft Store. When I type in "Phone Link" into my android "Play Store" I get several links but do not see an actual Phone Link app at this time. The first one is "Link to Windows" then I see Microsoft Phone Link App When I click on this link then I see: Search Results: XBOX Mail and Calendar Windows Scan Microsoft Photos Snipping Tool (I already have this loaded on my phone and LOVE it) Then I see "Phone Link" again same link as earlier with more links like Windows Calculator, Microsft 365 (Office), Paint 3D and more I just clicked on the Phone Link again but now I see this: Update - Breaking down, I want to uninstall this - keep in mind I have not yet installed this and already they are telling me how to uninstall it??

This green tree frog has been hanging around - mostly on flower pots rather than trees - for several weeks. Very friendly, didn't even bat an eye when I got really close with the phone for a photo.

A little hump-day levity. Looks like our large "hardware" chain, Canadian Tire, is telling me to get a grip. Never miss an opportunity. This evening, I made a pork tenderloin stir fry that included red and yellow bell peppers. This pepper is definitely alarmed.

I think we should start a thread for alarmed or otherwise vegetables!

That pepper is too much, Clive! Thanks Helen. I once used googly eyes on large fishing flies. These eyes are much larger. They come in handy on occasion. A kid at heart! I think we should start a thread for alarmed or otherwise vegetables! Good idea Jackie. That would be a good thread as in the Northern Hemisphere it is autumn ... harvest season.
